Artist, hat maker, holistic hairstylist and makeup artist, cancer survivor, philanthropist, wife, mom to three young adults, and passionate about living a life grounded in creativity!

Born in the heart of New Jersey, my journey intertwines with the courageous journey of my parents who immigrated to this country in 1970 with nothing in their pockets but fifty dollars and a lot of hope. Their relentless work ethic and unwavering perseverance became the blueprint for my own ambitions.

From them, I inherited not just a work ethic, but a philosophy — a belief that challenges are not roadblocks but stepping stones towards growth and transformation. My upbringing laid the foundation for my entrepreneurial spirit and creative drive. Drawing from my parents' ingenuity, I discovered the power of harnessing my artistic talents to make a difference in the world. Through their guidance, I learned to channel my creativity into avenues that not only fulfilled me but also uplifted those around me.

Under the name @friknfrakdesigns, I create one-of-a-kind hat designs rooted in creativity, storytelling, and a profound friendship that continues to honor the memory of my friend, Naomi, who lost her battle with colon cancer in 2018. For over 25 years, Naomi and I shared a deep bond, collaborating on editorial styling and bringing imaginative visions to life. The name Frik n Frak—a playful spin on “Frick and Frack”—captures the spirit of our connection and shared passion.

What began as a heartfelt tribute and a hobby soon grew into a business, inspired by the encouragement of friends and admirers drawn to the distinctive, story-rich creations.

When I’m not handcrafting hats, my husband and I of 26 years devote our energy to @peaceofparadisemt—a creative retreat nestled in the heart of Paradise Valley, Montana. There, amidst the stunning mountain landscape, we have cultivated a space where every season of life is honored, meaningful connections are fostered, and unforgettable memories are made.

And it was through my artistic journey I uncovered a profound truth — that creativity is not merely a gift, but a steadfast companion guiding us through life’s various seasons, infusing our days with more groundedness, joy, and true peace.
